Hi, I’m Sarah Hunter, The Helpful Hygienist!

With over 25 years of experience in preventive dental care, my journey began as a Dental Hygienist training in Newcastle. My career has taken me to London’s prestigious West End and now back to my roots in the beautiful county of Northumberland. 

I’ve been fortunate to work in some of the UK’s most renowned dental practices in Chelsea and Harley Street, where I cared for high-profile clients and celebrities, ensuring their smiles were always camera-ready with utmost professionalism.

However, my passion has always been to educate as many people as possible about good dental hygiene, especially those who I know struggle to access dental care. My goal is to empower individuals to take control of their oral health by sharing simple yet effective oral hygiene tips.

As The Helpful Hygienist, I combine my experience with my commitment to improving access to excellent dental care for everyone. I truly believe that oral hygiene isn’t just about achieving the brightest smile—it’s about maintaining good overall health too.
